The Lost Bread

You like eating bread, but you can’t finish it all sometimes and you don’t want to waste it?

 

 

 

Give a new life to your left over bread, baguette, or sandwich bread and turn it into a tasty dessert!

 

For 4 peoples

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

• Left over bread

• 10 cl of milk

• 2 eggs

• 2 tablespoons of sugar

• Butter

1. Mix milk, eggs and sugar in a bowl.

2. Dip slices of bread in the mixture (don’t dip for too long or the bread will crumble).

3. Add a some butter to a pan and grill the bread. Alternatively, place the bread in a dish with a small amount of butter, put it in a low oven, and allow it to develop a glazed/glossy surface.
