Smoothie and Fruit Purée

Your fruits have been in the kitchen for days and don’t look appetizing?

 

Turn your fruits in a refreshing beverage

or a soft and sweet fruit purée

 

 

Smoothie:smoothie 1

1. Select fruits that you think you are not going to eat.

2. Peel and cut them.

3. Mix them all in a blender (no need to add sugar, as fruits naturally contain sugar).

4. Pour the juice blend into a glass and leave to cool in the fridge.

Fruit purée:compote

1. Select fruits that you think you are not going to eat.

2. Peel and cut them, then transfer to a large saucepan.

3. Add sugar (according to your taste) and a glass of water.

4. Simmer at low heat; and add more water if required.

5. Leave the puree to simmer for a further 20-30 minutes.

6. The puree can be mixed once cooked, then left to cool.
